Ancient Spores are some of the several seeds added by the Ex Nihilo Adscensio, despite not having "seeds" in the name. It has 1% chance to drop when sieving Sand with an Iron Stiffened Mesh, and 3% chance to drop when sieving Sand with a Diamond Stiffened Mesh.
It can be used on Dirt to transform it into Mycelium.
