The Genepool is a block added by the Genetics mod. It is used to extract Liquid DNA from a Bee using Ethanol and Enzyme as a catalyst. The DNA is used in advanced Genetic machines such as the Splicer, Synthesizer, and Purifier. The Genepool uses 8,000 RF per 2.5 second operation consuming 25% of an Enzyme. It has an internal energy buffer of 16,000 RF and liquid buffers of 1,000 mB. It is recommended to analyse the bee prior to using it in the Genepool to improve the yield (Princess 25%, Drone 5%). The items and liquids can be inserted and extracted using a transport system such as Itemduct, Pipe, Liquiduct or Fluid Pipe and stored into a Tank [1].

When using a Router to insert bees into the Genepool it is recommended to use care in proper placement, using corresponding slot numbers 4 to 8, as shown in GUI picture on the right. Using other slots will either not work or may cause item loss.
