testing this out in creative before making it on my server "The 16:1 gearbox will connect the engine to the bevel gears, and the extractor is placed on top of the bevel gears. The gearbox has 2 directions to face, one of them will successfully power Stage 1 and Stage 4, while the other direction will power Stage 2 and Stage 3. In order to switch the direction, use a Screwdriver. "

not entirely sure who dicided that it would work but gearboxes at least in the version i was running will only function in one direction... so while the math might be right the process will not work... it powers the first stage, but nothing beyond that as the second and third stage state they need more speed--Chrissyofhailfire (talk) 09:38, 8 June 2015 (CEST)

I believe what the author of the article meant was that the Gearbox needed to be shift+right clicked on with a screwdriver to switch it from speed mode to torque mode and vice versa rather than changing its direction. --SirPersonJr (talk) 18:32, 8 June 2015 (CEST)
