Cassiterite Ore is a new type of ore from GregTech 4. It is a highly concentrated variant of Tin Ore. It can be found in icy, mountainous, or mushroom biomes. In a conventional Furnace, it smelts into two Tin ingots, a Macerator produces three Tin Dust, and most efficiently the Industrial Grinder produces 5 Tin Dust (without byproducts). It spawns very rarely, but in extremely large veins. Cassiterite Ore can be mined with an Iron Pickaxe or better. Cassiterite Ore is more likely to be found at higher elevations. It will likely not be found in every chunk, but appears in veins of roughly 32 ore.
