GregTech 4[edit]

  • Support.png Support — Originally, I hated how GregTech operated and how much more difficult it made the game. There's still some things I don't like (e.g. flying for kilometers through the End being the best way of getting Iridium, the endless waiting games with centrifuges) but overall, I feel that without this mod, IC2 is definitely OP (ores doubled for the cost of some EU and a few basic materials? matter from nothing but energy?) and almost sort of stunted/prematurely shortened without all the new machines that GregTech adds. DigitallyApocalyptic (talk) 03:03, 5 April 2013 (CEST)
  • Support.png Support — Despite all the flack GregTech gets, I think it's got far more pros than cons. Yes, some parts are rather tedious and annoying, but it also forces players to come up with more effective ways of getting all those shiny new toys, and adds some seriously needed balance. Embri (talk) 04:48, 5 April 2013 (CEST)
  • Support.png Support — GregTech is one of those big mods in FTB which make it look different from tekkit pack which most of us used to play a year ago. Many new machines and processed items. New sources of energy. Effective chemistry system. OstPavel (talk) 05:52, 6 April 2013 (CEST).
  • Support.png Support — What they said. Iamtk421 (talk) 23:31, 8 April 2013 (CEST)
  • Support.png Support — The 3 big things, in my mind, that separate FTB from Tekkit are 1. FTB got permission from the mod makers, it is rumored that Tekkit didn't. 2. FTB is made for a more updated version of minecraft. 3. Most FTB packs, and all that I have used have GregTech. The last on is the biggest. Where would we be if energy crystals and lapotron crystals needed diamonds instead of sapphires and rubies? Where would we be without all the balancing changes? The answer: FTB would be so easy that it wouldn't be so much better than vanilla MC. GregTech is the single most useful mod in itself in all of FTB.

Thaumcraft 3[edit]

  • Support.png Support — Awesome mod with great attention to detail and depth. How can you not love being able to 'capture' a blaze and laugh at him through the bars as you force him to cook your chicken nuggets? Iamtk421 (talk) 05:23, 1 May 2013 (CEST)
  • Support.png Support — Great mod with even more new features, love the liquid moving golems, they look better than messy pipes. ƒelinoel ~ (Talk) 12:50, 1 May 2013 (CEST)
  • Support.png Support — Cool mod with tons of new features. Appelsiini1 11:00, 13 May 2013 (GMT +3)
  • Support.png Support — Thaumcraft 3 is a huge mod, which can be considered an "IC2" of magic. We should feature it so that people become aware of all its great features. OstPavel (talk) 19:09, 30 May 2013 (CEST)
  • Support.png Support — Agreed. It's worthy of being featured. DigitallyApocalyptic (talk) 19:32, 30 May 2013 (CEST)

XyCraft[edit]

  • Support.png Support — Very nice Mod, a lot of people don't know about the features it brings! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hegik (talk · contribs)
  • Support.png Support — Even though it's not fully completed, the things it gave until now adds so much beauty to the game! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jiraiyah (talk · contribs) at 17:37, 14 May 2013
  • Oppose.png Oppose — It shouldn't have been included in any mod pack as its no where near complete enough. Plus the textures are hideous. Iamtk421 (talk) 22:14, 8 May 2013 (CEST)
  • Oppose.png Oppose — I agree, it was added before it was done, which made it pure annoyance up until recently... User Page. ƒelinoel_Contributions 01:25, 9 May 2013 (CEST)
  • Oppose.png Oppose — This mod isn't near complete. It's not ready to be featured. It's still filled with bugs and lag (re: Multi Tank) as well as incomplete and/or hard to look at visuals. The spawning of ores is far too common and there's really nothing that can be done with this mod that couldn't be done as well or better by another in many or all cases. Yes, the things here are inexpensive, but all that serves to do is mainly break balance added by other mods. DigitallyApocalyptic (talk) 19:32, 30 May 2013 (CEST)

Tinkers' Construct[edit]

  • Support.png Support — I love the info books. Every other mod needs a wiki or NEI to get the recipes, but Tinkers' Construct is the only one that is self-sufficient (Thaumcraft comes close, but it doesn't tell the player how to make a wand or a thaumonomicon). I love the versatility offered to the player, instead of forcing him down the mod programmer's path. I also gotta give it props for its enchanting system. AQiccl135 (talk) 18:15, 2 September 2013 (CEST)
  • Oppose.png Oppose — I disagree, I found the books to be too bothersome to read. User Page. ƒelinoel_Contributions 07:48, 2 October 2013 (CEST)
