A basic engine which is questionably worth using over steam at first glance due to only providing 4x the power and requiring significantly more work to perform all steps in producing ethanol. However, ethanol lasts a long time in gasoline engines and is produced from relatively little material. As well, due to Rotarycraft's tiering, it is almost impossible to progress without at one point making this engine and its associated ethanol production chain. It can be upgraded into a Performance Engine using a Performance Engine Upgrade which produces more power at the cost of efficiency and the added cost of additives. Each ethanol crystal adds one minute of operation time. 320 ethanol crystals will completely fill up the tank, and you can place another stack in the input slot for a total of 5 hours and 4 minutes of continuous operation.
RotaryCraft Handbook Description[edit]
The gasoline engine, true to its name, runs on…ethanol. Simply load in ethanol crystals and watch them burn to produce 128 Nm of torque at 512 rad/s, or 65.536 kW of power.
