Sun Dial is a block added by the Draconic Evolution mod. It is a very powerful device that allows a player to speed up the progression of time to 30 times its normal speed, though it does not increase the tick rate of the game itself. This is achieved by inputting a redstone signal into the device. After a short delay during which the device builds up its charge, it will shoot a ray of flames towards the position of the sun and accelerate time. The acceleration is halted when the redstone signal cuts out.
