So, does anyone know if this produces less total RF than the Survivalist Generator per unit of fuel? Celestial Oblivion (talk) 08:02, 29 September 2014 (CEST)
- That is a very good question, I was operating under the understanding that the survivalist generator produced more power, though that understanding was given to me by timrem, let's see what he has to say maybe? ƒelinoel ~ (Talk) 21:12, 29 September 2014 (CEST)
- If you have the UI for a generator open it puts information about burn time in the tooltip for valid fuels. I just looked at a piece of coal. In the SG it is 80 kRF at 5 RF/t. In the FG it is 20 kRF at 40 RF/t. So it looks like the survival is 4 times as efficient but 8 times slower. Gxam (talk) 21:27, 29 September 2014 (CEST)
- That was pretty much my understanding, it is why my power system in the FTBWiki's MC server uses survivalist generators lol and as for the speed thing I will just be using a lot of them =b . ƒelinoel_ 21:37, 29 September 2014 (CEST)

Burn time/RF ratio[edit]
What is the actual amount of RF generated per tick? The first paragraph says that the generator produces 40 RF/t, though in the table below the total RF value seems to always be 12.5 times the burn time in ticks (i. e. a rate of 12.5 RF/t). --dgelessus (talk · contribs) 21:54, 22 February 2015 (CET)
