Block Update Detector is a block added by the Extra Utilities mod. It works like a BUD switch, sending a redstone pulse every time a block near it updates.

Usage[edit]
This block can be used in many devices where you need to know when a block has changed. For example this block is very useful for automatic melon and pumpkin farms which can be greatly compacted using this block.
