Control Track is a block added by the Railcraft mod. It acts like a weak, directional Booster Track. A cart traveling over it along the arrows will be boosted, while a cart traveling against the arrows will be slowed and eventually reverse direction (if there are enough Control Tracks). A cart with enough momentum can go through a Control Track against the arrows, so it may take several of these tracks to completely slow and reverse it. Depending on your needs, One-Way Tracks may be more useful.
Unlike Booster Tracks, Control Tracks are always 'on' and do not need to be powered by redstone to operate. Instead, a redstone signal will cause the arrows on the track to reverse direction.
