Wand Focus: Disintegration is an item added by the Thaumic Horizons mod. This focus can be used on block or mob, destroying the block and damaging the mob. When the block is destroyed or the mob is killed, only Crystallized Essence will drop. The amount and type of Crystallized Essence dropped is determined by the Aspects in block or mob. This foci can be enchanted with Frugal, Potency, Enlarge, Enervation. Using this foci will cost the caster 0.3

"Sometimes you'd like to harvest essentia from materials in the field, without the hassle of lugging them back to an alchemical furnace. After your work on alchemite and liquid death you feel confident enough to try creating a wand focus with similar effects.

The disintegration focus functions much like the excavation focus it is based on, but blocks broken by the beam are transformed into crystallized essentia. It does not do much damage to living things, but should you manage to kill one it will also drop crystallized essentia."
