The Forge Hammer is a crafting reagent from IndustrialCraft2, and is used to create certain Plates and Item Casings. The Metal Former can also be used to create Plates and Item Casings, but the Metal Former itself requires certain Plates and Item Casings in its recipe, therefore the Forge Hammer is essential, as it is the only other way to obtain Plates (apart from if GregTech is installed) and Item Casings. The Forge Hammer has a durability of 80, and it loses one durability every time it is used to craft.
