Splitting Bolts are an item added by the Witchery mod. It is used by the Witch Hunter Pistol Crossbow.
These bolts are actually three Wooden Bolts tied together that split midflight but because of this they only deal half the damage each so that is a total of nine damage, three for each bolt. Since they are still wooden bolts these also are the weakness for Bark Belt and Baba Yaga's thorns.
