Ocelot is a mob added by vanilla Minecraft that spawns naturally in Jungle biomes. It can be tamed and bred using any kind of raw fish, however, the player has to be very careful by taming an ocelot, as it will run away otherwise. When tamed, the ocelot will get a cat texture. Ocelots and cats will scare away Creepers.
An ocelot will drop an Ocelot Rug, when it is killed with The Cat Ironer from Magic Cookies mod and when tamed, they will sometimes drop a Ball of Fur from Actually Additions mod.
Familiar[edit]
Tamed cats can be used as Familiars for both, Witchery mod and Thaumic Horizons mod. They are also used in the process of summoning Toads . Thaumic Horizons allows to strengthen a tamed cat by turning it into a Guardian Panther or a Gravekeeper.
Note[edit]
- ↑ Depending on the look, a tamed cat will drop a Tuxedo Rug, Tabby Rug or Siamese Rug instead.
