Elven Mana Spreader is a block added by the Botania mod. It gathers mana from nearby generating flowers or adjacent Mana Pools and transfers it through pulses to Mana Pools, Mana Spreaders, and other mana accepting blocks.
Generating flowers must be within a 6 block radius and will send to the nearest Spreader at the time they are planted. If no Spreader is within range when they are placed, the flowers must be manually bound to one when it is available using the Wand of the Forest. If the Mana Spreader a flower is bound to is broken, the flower will stay bound to the same spot and wait for a new Spreader to occupy that block until it is manually rebound using the Wand of the Forest.
This Spreader can be turned OFF with redstone signal. It will not send mana bursts unless it detects a valid receiving block. It will not send a new burst until the last one sent has been received. Once the Spreader's mana burst range is reached it will start to lose mana in each subsequent block, there will always be a small loss of mana upon the burst entering a new Mana Spreader.
The Elven Mana Spreader is an upgrade to the standard Mana Spreader. Each mana burst contains 1.5 times more mana than that of the standard Spreader, allowing it to move more mana more quickly. The mana burst range is increased to 20 blocks. The internal storage is the same as the standard Spreader.
