Mana Lens: Flare is an item added by the Botania mod. When installed on a Mana Spreader, this Lens causes the spreader to fire a continuous decorative burst in whatever color the lens is dyed. This removes all other spreader functionality other than collecting mana.
The Mana Lens can be applied to a Mana Spreader with a right-click and removed by right-clicking with an empty hand. Combining it with any color of floral powder will dye it that color, changing the color of the mana burst. Combining it with a Mana Pearl will create a rainbow dye effect.
