The Petal Apothecary is the work station in Botania where all mana generating and functional flowers are created. It must be filled with water to function, by either right clicking on it or throwing a bucket of water in it.

To craft a flower in the petal apothecary, various petals and other ingredients must be thrown into it when it has water. Once all the petals are in, a seed must be thrown in to complete the recipe. Shift-right clicking on the apothecary will remove the last item put in. Breaking it will also drop all petals inside it. Right-clicking with an empty hand will craft the last item, provided the correct ingredients are present in inventory. However, this only works 20 seconds after the earlier crafting, and water and seeds must still be added separately.

Recipe[edit]

Note: Any color petals will work in the recipe.

Notes[edit]

  • Throwing or right clicking a bucket of lava into the Petal Apothecary will turn it into a light source and an incinerator. Any items thrown into it will be destroyed. This block gives lava particle effects but does not spread fire.
  • Throwing vines into it will give it an overgrown look.
  • Crafting it with the various colors of Metamorphic Stone will give a Petal Apothecary of the same color.
