The Thermalily is a flower from the Botania mod. It absorbs lava source blocks in a 3x3 ring around it, similarly to the Hydroangeas, to generate mana. It generates mana at a much greater rate than most flowers. In recent versions, there is a six minute cool down period between absorbing lava.
Unlike the Hydroangeas, producing unlimited mana with it is nearly impossible due to the nature of lava.
Recipe[edit]
Usage[edit]
Thermalily has no known uses in crafting.
Notes[edit]
- One lava source block produces 65 mana bursts in a regular mana spreader.
- This can be easily fueled in the Nether, or through Blood Magic's "Serenade of the Nether".
- Buildcraft's Flood Gate works well for automation as well, especially when paired with floating versions of the Thermalily, as they cannot be washed away by fluids.
- The Everburn Urn provides an excellent, unlimited source of lava that can be easily automated with golems, a dispenser and any kind of timer.
