Mind Spider is a mob added by the Thaumcraft 4 mod. It has almost fully transparent texture and therefore can hardly be seen. It is a Spider-type mob, able to climb vertical blocks and creating the sounds of crouching when moving. It does not drop anything on death but it can randomly drop a String, like Chicken can drop an Egg. Like a mundane Spider, it has a 1/100 chance to spawn with a Skeleton on its back.
It does not spawn naturally and can only be found in Eldritch Dimension where it spawns from a Monster Spawner. A swarm of these creatures can also spawn around the player as one of the negative Warp effects.
