Taint Swarm is a mob added by the Thaumcraft 4 mod. It is almost invisible and consists only of many taint particles randomly flying around the mob's hitbox. The mob spawns in Tainted Lands and from Taint Spore Spawner. It loses its health while not in Tainted Lands similar to Squid losing its health when out of water. The attacks of this mob do not move the player.
