"You have made an interesting discovery during your study of nodes. Different kinds of nodes emit varying types of radiant energy, but none are quite as distinct as that of Sinister nodes.
The energy emitted by Sinister nodes is quite unique and simple to track. By infusing a piece of flint you think you can create a simple scrying device that will light up whenever it is pointed towards such a node.
The range is limited, but it is a worthwhile invention since you have often found Sinister nodes in the most interesting of places."
